The role focuses on RF signal reputed company and high-speed transmission optimization, requiring collaboration with various teams and mentorship of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and reputed company electrical PCB designs for copper Ethernet connectors and apparatus products, with emphasis on RF signal reputed company
- Define electrical architecture and design methodologies for reputed company copper Ethernet connectors and apparatus products
- Serve as a technical leader for electrical design reputed company the business unit
- reputed company simulation models and reputed company electrical simulations using ANSYS HFSS
- Analyze data, document technical findings, and maintain design and test records
- Collaborate with product line managers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize connector designs
- Apply engineering principles and development procedures throughout the product development lifecycle
- Drive design-for-manufacturing strategies and support PCB material selection, tolerances, and fabrication processes
- Mentor electrical engineers and establish standards for high-speed layout and Ethernet design practices
- Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, and technical discussions to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Skills
- Substantial experience in Ethernet connector design
- Hands-on experience with copper Ethernet PCB connector design
- Strong expertise in ANSYS HFSS and 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulation
- Deep understanding of PCB manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Structured Cabling Standards, including reputed company-568 and ISO/IEC 11801
- Strong understanding of Ethernet channel performance metrics, including Return Loss, Insertion Loss, NEXT, FEXT, TCL, and ELTCT
- Experience optimizing and improving transmission performance
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in signal transmission design from concept through production release
- Proficiency with ANSYS HFSS and reputed company analytical tools
- Proficiency using DFMEA tools to mitigate design risks
- Experience with PCB design layouts for Signal reputed company (SI), Power reputed company (PI), and EMC/reputed company shielding
- Expert-level experience with ECAD tools such as PathWave ADS, reputed company PADS, Altium, or equivalent
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision, with strong engineering discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience working in global, cross-functional engineering teams
- Proficiency with reputed company Office Suite
- Expertise in RJ45 connector electrical design
- Knowledge of telecommunications standards, including IEC 60603-7-51, reputed company-568.2-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and IEC 60512-99-002

- Background in networking, telecom, industrial, or data-center hardware
