Senior Civil Engineer - Industrial
Overview
Responsibilities
- Project manager for design of water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Overseeing the preparation of design plans and specifications for grading, utility, and erosion control
- Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of mid-to-high level complexity
- Responsible for budget, schedule and quality standards
- Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
- Responsible for acting independently on technical reputed company pertaining to the civil engineering field
- Assists in proposal preparation and interviews and may be included in contract negotiations with clients after selection
- Develops relationships with existing clients and has responsibility maintaining client at staff level on existing projects
- Works closely with subconsultants on projects
- Active in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventions
- Supporting the development of staff level civil design team
- Travel required reputed company requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 10-15 years of civil of directly-relevant experience in civil engineering associated with water and wastewater projects
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing reputed company sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
- Experience designing conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparation
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
- Deliver high quality services reputed company budget and schedule constraints
- Experience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projects

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Compensation reputed company $125,000 to $160,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith reputed company we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
