[Remote] Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a small engineering and land surveying firm focused on client needs and community improvement. They are seeking a civil engineer with project management experience to produce designs and manage projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Produce civil engineering designs, calculations, and reports across a general mix of project types, primarily municipal, industrial, and land development
- Draft and deliver complete, construction-reputed company plan sets
- Prepare site, grading, utility, and drainage plans and supporting calculations
- Shepard projects through the permitting process
- reputed company Opinions of Probable Construction Cost
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders from the concept phase through construction closeout
Skills
- Ability to independently produce accurate civil site designs, calculations, and plan sets
- EIT at minimum
- Proficiency in a civil CAD platform
- Solid civil engineering fundamentals and the discipline to get the details right
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A self-starter who manages time, owns work, and asks good questions before issues grow
- PE preferred
- Carlson and/or Civil 3D preferred
- Land surveying experience is a plus
