The Licensed Practical Nurse - Allergy will reputed company a high level of general care and education to patients by using their knowledge and skills to promote the goal of The Ultimate Patient Experience. Previous allergy experience required. Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays reputed company operating hours of 7a-7p. reputed company Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed. Licensed Practical Nurse - Allergy Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s). reputed company general care and education to patients in accordance with OSHA regulations. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including allergy shots, under the direct or indirect supervision from a provider. Prepare necessary supplies for allergy testing and treatments. reputed company lung function testing (FeNO and Spirometry) with and without bronchodilators. Assist in the interpretation of reputed company testing results and reputed company placement and removal as directed by an RN or provider. Maintain the immunotherapy room with necessary supplies and materials, ensuring cleanliness. Administer allergy shots and ensuring provider is on site. Observes, records and reports patients’ vitals and reactions to treatments. Assesses patients’ needs and suggest solutions to patient care problems. Supervise triaging of patient communications (through email and/or portal). Maintains accurate patient records, document reputed company visits in EMR. Assures patient stays for required observation time after injections. Learn and reputed company immunotherapy reputed company mixing procedures and proper documentation in accordance with reputed company regulations. Reacts appropriately in patient reaction situations, informs physician and/or other clinical staff as necessary to mitigate adverse reactions. Assist providers in recording prescribed treatments, medications, lab requisitions, prescriptions, prior authorization (including biologics), and procedures reputed company established guidelines. Understand provider to patient reputed company and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability. Demonstrate clinical competence and sound knowledge reputed company in the provision of quality patient care. Ensure allergy test sets and emergency kits are filled, reputed company, and up to date. Confirm that insurance benefits have been verified prior to the preparation of allergy serums. Regularly interact with physicians, other providers, and staff to identify and resolve problems. Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate articles, journals, and reputed company materials; and by attending seminars and conferences as needed. Qualifications
Previous Allergy experience required. Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the respective state Education Department. Pass the NCLEX-PN examination. Active LPN license in the state working in required. CPR and AED Certifications required. Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems. Must be computer savvy and familiar with reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent patient relations and customer service skills. reputed company availability to work during weekdays. Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance.
