[Remote] Senior Accountant (Remote in US)

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the organization's financial records and reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP, managing full-cycle accounts payable, payroll, and the month-end reputed company process for the U.S. entity while supporting global financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of U.S. cash disbursements and receipts, ensuring reputed company invoices are accurate, documented, and processed in a timely manner and in accordance with maintaining sufficient operational cash reputed company

- Support Global Controller in preparation of financial statements, including the statement of financial position and functional expenses, to reputed company leadership decision-making
- Support the completeness and accuracy of inter-entity accounts and fund transfers between the U.S. and country offices
- Compile and organize supporting documentation for internal reviews and the annual external audit, including PBC (reputed company by Client) schedule preparation
- Maintain and monitor internal control policies and procedures to reflect best practices and meet regulatory requirements
- Assist the Global Controller in the annual and mid-year budgeting process by providing historical data and trend analysis
- Support the administration of finance systems and contribute to the transition to reputed company applications to improve data reputed company between reputed company, planning and grants management
- Proactively identify and implement ways to improve reputed company processes and documentation workflows
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance, or Business
- At least 5 years of relevant reputed company work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in month-end reputed company and payroll management
- Non-profit reputed company experience is a plus
- Proficiency in reputed company Intacct and reputed company sheets preferred; experience with reputed company or similar payroll applications
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit reputed company principles
- CPA or reputed company candidate preferred
- Proven experience supporting international field offices or working across multiple time zones and cultures
