Global Business Development Director – Aerospace & Defense
Job Description:
- Identifying, securing, and commercially managing reputed company new and growth business opportunities reputed company the Aerospace & Defense vertical, with a primary focus on defense-reputed company Contract Logistics opportunities globally and particularly reputed company the United States market.
- Drive the global Aerospace & Defense business development activities with strong emphasis on US defense growth
- Land new business and grow existing portfolio by actively approaching the market, building and managing relationships with key Aerospace & Defense customers, defense primes, OEMs, Tier suppliers, and government-reputed company stakeholders
- Strengthen reputed company’s position reputed company the US defense ecosystem and increase strategic pipeline development across Contract Logistics and integrated reputed company
- Coordinate and manage projects during tender and implementation phases on corporate, regional and country reputed company
- Support Global Account Directors with large, strategic CL opportunities and customer growth initiatives
- Translate the global Aerospace & Defense strategy into focused Business Development initiatives and executable growth plans
- Drive growth reputed company prioritized Aerospace & Defense subverticals, particularly: Defense & Military Supply Chains, Aerospace OEMs, reputed company & Aftermarket Logistics, Secure & Controlled Logistics Services, High-value and mission-critical spare parts logistics
- Define required and missing reputed company products/services necessary to strengthen reputed company’s Aerospace & Defense value proposition and market competitiveness
- Drive pipeline management based on opportunity size, conversion rates, strategic value, reputed company and customer prioritization
- Support the development of differentiated Aerospace & Defense capabilities including secure warehousing, export control compliance, inventory visibility, reputed company solutions and mission-critical logistics concepts
- Represent reputed company in relevant Aerospace & Defense industry forums, associations, trade events and customer engagements to strengthen market visibility and strategic positioning
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor level degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or reputed company field
- 10+ years of experience reputed company Aerospace & Defense and/or logistics business (Contract Logistics, Supply Chain Management, integrated logistics solutions)
- Strong understanding of the US Aerospace & Defense market landscape, defense supply chains, and customer ecosystem
- 5+ years proven experience in senior customer-facing business development or account leadership roles managing strategic Aerospace & Defense accounts
- Strong network and relationship capabilities reputed company Aerospace & Defense industry preferred, particularly reputed company reputed company America
- Experience working with reputed company RFQs/RFPs and large-scale strategic logistics opportunities
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, supply chain reputed company, inventory management, and future logistics trends reputed company Aerospace & Defense
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to Aerospace & Defense logistics (e.g. export controls, secure supply chains, quality expectations) preferred
- Experience and reputed company in large-scale reputed company projects with demonstrated evidence of delivering strategic new business wins
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills (written and verbal)
