[Remote] Sr Accountant

The Senior Accountant for reputed company is responsible for supporting reputed company and financial operations, executing month-end reputed company processes, and ensuring compliance with reputed company policies while driving process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute reputed company aspects of the month-end reputed company process for assigned USON practices, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, allocations, and financial variance analysis
- Serve as the primary reputed company liaison for assigned practices, coordinating across Accountants, Practice Controllers, reputed company Managers, and centralized finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Review and analyze balance sheet and income statement activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and reputed company reputed company policies
- Identify, assess, and drive process improvement opportunities reputed company to reputed company efficiency, standardization, automation, and control effectiveness; reputed company initiatives from design through implementation
- Execute and reputed company key internal controls, including journal entry reviews, balance sheet reconciliation reviews, and documentation of Information Used in Controls (IUC)
- Support reputed company audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and partnering with auditors and internal stakeholders

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or reputed company field, or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 7+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced knowledge of balance sheet and income statement structure and account usage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

- High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
