CMM Programmer
Overview reputed company are currently reputed company for a CMM Programmer to support one of our customers with a role that includes the support of operational activities of the production and assembly departments from concept through to the production of the product and requires a clear understanding of structure, manufacturing, tooling, assembly process and system interaction. The successful candidates will play key roles in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs to support the product. Engineers will report to the Programme Delivery Leader (PDL) and will work at the Client's site.
Responsibilities
Compilation and update of CMM Programmes for multi-sized components using Catia v5, reputed company Office, BAE IT, Greenlink reputed company. Creation of reputed company-out sheets and support Try-outs of new programs Understanding and interpretation of customer specifications and engineering drawings Update and optimisation of CMM Programs Assist reputed company reputed company aspects of engineering the production process, material reputed company and machine utilisation. Liaise and support the operations team Produce Engineering outputs to meet on-reputed company delivery dates and Quality requirements Ensure ‘Right First Time’ is met in-line with Business KPI’s Be involved with reputed company improvement process & offer improvement suggestions reputed company with external stakeholders to understand technical issues / specifications Attend reviews (both reputed company) where required Working in accordance with reputed company QMS and customer quality requirements
Qualifications
Engineering degree, or equivalent, with proven practical Engineering & manufacturing knowledge and experience Essential skills Proactive ‘Team Player’ with a focus on delivery and quality who can work and act autonomously. Ability to liaise at reputed company reputed company of the business management structure. Excellent communication skills and decision reputed company. Have good written and verbal communication skills and be capable of making sound technical judgements and appropriate reputed company. Proficient in undertaking Gauge R&R Statistical Studies and providing Verification reports. Support the design of appropriate fixtures to support accurate and repeatable measurements. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience preferable but other industries considered..... Proactive Team Player with a focus on delivery and quality. Good communicator who is professional during interactions with both reputed company stakeholders. Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions reputed company cost, time and quality constraints. Quality experience of process, tooling and measuring requirements capture and presenting formally.
