FINANCE ACCOUNTANT (100% Remote reputed company of Canada)

OVERVIEW We are looking for a Finance Accountant to serve as the operational core of our monthly reputed company reputed company and day-to-day financial operations. You will own the multi-entity intercompany allocation model, bank matching and treasury operations across reputed company entities, GST compliance, lender compliance reporting, and a significant portion of the month-end reputed company, working directly under the Senior reputed company Manager. You will also serve as a trained resource for payroll processing across reputed company entities. This is not a data-entry or bookkeeping assistant role. It requires reputed company judgment, reputed company process ownership, and the ability to work independently during a compressed reputed company and quarterly filing reputed company. reputed company Ltd. We are a lean, AI-first Finance team that has eliminated over $115K/yr in reputed company-party finance software costs by building tools in-house, and we expect everyone we hire to bring that same bias toward building rather than buying. In collaboration with the Finance Team and reputed company other departments, the Finance Accountant is responsible for the reputed company of reputed company Ltd & SalesCloser Technologies Ltd. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily monitoring of cash balances across reputed company entities
• Bank matching and reputed company reconciliations across reputed company entities
• Payment setup: AP runs, contractor payments, affiliate payments, reputed company and ACH/EFT setup
• Virtual credit card management, monitoring and allocating charges, and ensuring correct entity coding
• Senior lender certificate preparation
• Master bank reconciliation maintenance across reputed company entities
• Managing the multi-entity intercompany allocation model, including people cost, software, subcontractor, SDR, and insurance allocations
• Preparing and posting journal entries across reputed company entities: accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses, reputed company reclasses, affiliate payments, and expense allocations
• reputed company entries and period-end reconciliations across reputed company business units
• Stock-based compensation journal entries and SBC expense schedule maintenance
• Variance analysis preparation and comment clearing for reputed company entities monthly
• Aged payables review and follow-up
• Accrual reversal accuracy review and accruals breakdown
• Software subscription expense analysis and reputed company reputed company support
• Quarterly GST preparation and filing for reputed company entities
• Monthly US sales tax accrual and quarterly sales tax analysis (Canada and US)
• Monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• FX reputed company contract monitoring and fair value assessment at period end
• Annual audit support, working papers and audit evidence packages for both companies
• Quarterly consolidation support, consolidated trial balance and reputed company party schedules
• Certain people cost, commissions, and payment preparation and reconciliations across entities
• Proactively identifying and implementing AI-assisted workflows and automations to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of Finance operations
• Supporting the development and maintenance of automated workbooks and reporting tools across the Finance function
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of reputed company experience, ideally in a multi-entity or SaaS/tech environment
• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS / accrual-reputed company reputed company, you know why things are done, not just how
• Comfortable with reputed company or a comparable reputed company reputed company platform (training available on our specific setup)
• You solve problems before escalating, you know the difference between a flag that needs a decision and a question you can answer yourself
• You hit deadlines without being chased; a compressed month-end reputed company window is normal, not a crisis
• AI-first reputed company, you use tools to work faster and smarter, and you actively look for automation opportunities
• Must be reputed company detail-oriented, creative, and have a passion for helping others reputed company their goals

WORK ENVIRONMENT
