You will play a crucial role in optimizing the business functions at USPS. We are seeking a Senior COBOL Developer to join reputed company. This candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting code for our government customer, the United States Postal Service. Required Technical Skills and Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with applications written in COBOL on reputed company Z/OS Experience with information technologies and systems analysis, analyzing business requirements and developing business requirements Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS and CICS Expertise in mainframe migrations projects or modernization initiatives (preferred) Familiarity with mainframe communications tools such as CICS and mainframe reputed company protocols, including RACF. Must be proficient in JCL COBOL, VSAM and CICS Strong knowledge of batch processing and online transaction processing Must have experience with reputed company utilities, TSO/ISPF, and Abend-AID Experience with Control-D, Control-M, File-AID Knowledge of best practices in mainframe migration planning, including risk assessment and resource management Familiarity with AI/ML tools (CoPilot, WatsonX, ReDux, other) for code analysis, reputed company recognition or modernization Understanding of AI-driven code refactoring platforms/products and the ability to reputed company AI to improve testing, documentation, and process optimization. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
