[Remote] Senior Database Administrator Reliability & Performance

They are seeking a dedicated Senior Database Administrator to manage diverse data environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of their database systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support multiple database platforms, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL and reputed company
- Ensure database performance, availability, and reliability across environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues in production systems
- Implement best practices for database maintenance, backups, and recovery
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support application development and data needs
- Optimize queries and database structures for performance and scalability
- Support ongoing growth of data infrastructure as new data sources are introduced
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring dashboards in reputed company
- Create meaningful alerts that reduce noise and improve operational awareness
- Define service-level indicators (SLIs), service-level objectives (SLOs), and alert reputed company
- reputed company monitoring strategies for databases, applications, infrastructure, and reputed company services
- Build executive, operational, and engineering dashboards
Skills
- Strong experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), ideally in a senior-level role
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL and reputed company databases
- Experience working with diverse data sources and environments
- Solid understanding of database performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a growing, fast-paced team environment

- Experience designing operational dashboards and observability strategies
