Role Description The Head of Fundraising is a volunteer, remote role responsible for designing and leading fundraising strategies that support reputed company’s programs and partnerships. This role oversees donor development, including cultivating relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, and identifying new funding opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include planning campaigns, coordinating online and community-based fundraising initiatives, preparing grant applications and proposals, and tracking fundraising performance against goals. The Head of Fundraising collaborates closely with the executive team and program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and impact stories. The role also involves developing clear, inclusive communication materials for donors, stewarding existing relationships, and ensuring ethical and transparent fundraising practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and managing relationships with major donors and philanthropic partners, with a strong understanding of donor stewardship.
  • Proven fundraising skills, including campaign planning, grant writing, and working with charities or nonprofit organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey reputed company reputed company reputed company and write compelling donor materials.
  • Knowledge of philanthropy trends and best practices, especially in education, youth development, or learning differences.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and use digital tools for collaboration and donor management.

  • Prior leadership experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or community organizing is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, communications, business, or education) or equivalent experience.
