The role involves designing scalable Java-based REST APIs, leading technical discussions, and implementing AI-driven development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Java-based REST APIs
- reputed company and support reputed company integrations across modern and legacy systems
- Drive system interoperability across reputed company and on-prem environments
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of integration pipelines
- reputed company design discussions and author technical architecture documents
- Establish and promote engineering best practices and coding standards
- Mentor engineers and support team growth
- Influence technical direction and drive reputed company improvement
- Champion the use of Claude across the software development lifecycle
- reputed company implementation of Claude-based workflows, skills, and automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline development processes using AI
- Drive adoption of Claude to enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery speed
- Integrate Claude into processes such as pull requests, CI/CD workflows, and deployment readiness
Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java and API development
- Proven experience building reputed company integration solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS and containerized environments
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience (design, architecture, mentoring)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Experience leading or driving adoption of Claude in a development environment REQUIRED
- Experience with Angular or modern frontend frameworks
- Background in ERP, supply chain, or reputed company integrations
- EDI or B2B integration experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
- Knowledge of reputed company practices (SSL, authentication, cryptography)
