The Senior Consultant integrates staff mentoring, reputed company and training, advanced expertise, strategic client management, safety program development, regulatory expertise, and other reputed company sets into their role. The Consultant is responsible for independently delivering expert guidance and innovative risk management and safety practices solutions. This role focuses on assessing client needs, developing tailored safety and risk prevention programs, and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies across various industries. The Consultant will collaborate closely with clients to enhance their safety culture, ensure compliance with regulations, and reduce workplace hazards. Their primary purpose is to help clients save lives, prevent injuries and illnesses, and protect them from harm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a remote position, generally working from home or a virtual office. Occasionally, there may be the need to visit a traditional office for meetings, training, or other events. Provides clients with onsite and virtual safety and risk management services. Due to client locations, overnight travel will be required. The ability to bundle client work is an expectation of maximizing Consultant time and client servicing utilization. Scheduling is self-managed, focusing on priorities such as client demands and service schedules, travel and bundling efficiencies, risk and reputed company needs, client expectations, incident and injury trends, client hazards and exposures, injury potential, and other factors. Creates action plans for safety and risk management services, visiting (onsite or virtual) some clients several times per year. Conducts loss control surveys onsite or virtual. Working with clients, exercises independent consideration for workplace safety recommendations and support, independent of direct supervision. Evaluates the effectiveness of the client's hazard controls associated with their operations. May assist the client with the implementation of plans. Solid working knowledge of safety and risk principles, loss and risk control, safety regulations, and the best practices of safety, as well as a preferred core understanding of workers' compensation, general liability, and other disciplines as needed.
