Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Buyer Indirect located in Henrico, VA. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Management the Buyer Indirect will be based in Henrico, VA. will be coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials. What a typical day looks like: Using different forms of caring- e-auction, sealed, reputed company care. Procurement of non-standard materials. Ongoing and reputed company participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and reputed company GBS team. Processing the requests received reputed company 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal. Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality. Interpreting reputed company, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing. Managing the recruitment of suppliers. Tracking goods from procurement to receipt. Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them. Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team Constant liaison with suppliers and peers. Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system. Sending out samples, organizing transport with the help of transport managers where necessary. Requesting and documenting safety data sheets. reputed company monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job). Handling and processing AP challenges. Preparation and recording of reports. The experience we’re looking to add to reputed company, Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree. Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience.
