About the position The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case inception to trial preparation. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in civil litigation or insurance defense, who can manage legal documents, conduct research, and communicate effectively with clients and court personnel. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and filing of discovery documents, interrogatories, pleadings , • Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents , • Conduct legal research using Westlaw or other legal databases , • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel , • Schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings , • Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence , • Handle clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and phone etiquette , • Assist the office with marketing materials and advertising efforts , • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates for attorneys , • reputed company administrative support such as answering phones and handling correspondence Requirements • 8+ years previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant , • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications , • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail , • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment , • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills , • Familiarity with administrative duties in a legal setting reputed company-to-haves • Spanish language skills Benefits • Competitive hourly pay of $20 - $35 , • Opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment , • reputed company experience in civil litigation and insurance defense Apply Job!
