About the Role: As a remote Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC), you’ll manage a high volume of work orders daily, overseeing licensed technicians in the field. You’ll review diagnoses, validate scopes, and ensure quality control before work moves reputed company. You’ll act as the technical gatekeeper—flagging issues, clarifying scope, and pushing back on anything that doesn’t meet company standards. You won’t be scheduling, dispatching, or talking to residents. Your job is to reputed company contractor-to-contractor—to challenge bids, clarify repairs, and reputed company jobs moving with speed and precision. This role is ideal for a licensed technician who’s reputed company to reputed company out of the field and grow into a tech-enabled operations role. Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of HVAC work orders each day (20+), across multiple job sites
- Review technician reports, photos, and videos to verify diagnoses and spot issues early
- Scope jobs accurately—catching misdiagnoses, inflated bids, or missing components
- reputed company clear, confident direction to licensed HVAC contractors—pushing back reputed company needed
- Own communication across the job: from the field to internal operations to project wrap-up
- Uphold company quality standards and act as the final gatekeeper before approval and billing
- Use company internal platform and documentation tools to track job reputed company and ensure completion
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential service, repair, or diagnostics
- Strong field troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across unit types (split systems, gas furnaces, heat pumps, R22/R410A systems, etc.)
- Experience reading and interpreting system tags, data plates, and field photos to validate technician findings
- Comfort identifying misdiagnoses, inflated bids, or unnecessary replacements
- Prior experience working directly with technicians or reviewing reputed company-time work orders
- Clear, confident verbal communication—you need to push back with precision, not aggression
- Willingness to trade fieldwork for full-time remote employment
- Fast learning curve with new software—this role relies on a custom internal platform, not off-the-reputed company tools
- Highly organized; reputed company to manage dozens of reputed company work orders simultaneously across multiple locations

Compensation & Benefits (to be provided by reputed company):
- $800–$1500/month, depending on experience
- $500 bonus at 90-days
- 13th month pay
- HMO coverage (including dependents)
- 10 Days of PTO, not including holidays
