[Remote] Senior QA Engineer

They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to architect and maintain test automation frameworks, conduct exploratory testing, and collaborate with stakeholders to define test strategies.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
- Write and execute clean, maintainable automated tests for UI, API, and backend services
- Conduct reputed company exploratory testing for reputed company new features and edge cases
- reputed company root cause analysis on defects to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate closely with Stakeholders and the tech team to define acceptance criteria and build comprehensive test strategies
- Manage QA operational metrics
- Own the QA Process
- Foster a 'quality first' culture across cross-functional tech teams
- Stay up to date on emerging AI/testing tools and drive reputed company process improvements
Skills
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like reputed company Actions or AWS CodePipeline
- Strong capability in backend testing, RESTful API validation, and database querying (SQL)
- Advanced knowledge of issue tracking and agile planning tools with JIRA
- Excellent English and communication skills (daily interaction in English involved)
- Previous experience in financial services is highly desirable
- Passion for learning, sharing, and working with other people
- 6 hours overlap with CET - while hours are flexible, you should generally be available most of the time, daily between 10-18, Central European time
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work full-time remotely
- Familiarity with tools like Splunk to debug product pipeline and environment issues
- PHP, Python, and JavaScript are desirable
- Practical knowledge of reputed company to containerize test suites, build reproducible test environments, and manage dependencies
