[Remote] Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant

They are seeking a Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant who will serve as a subject matter expert in hydrographic data processing, providing technical support and training to clients while maximizing the value of CARIS software solutions.
Responsibilities

- Deliver software training sessions both remotely and onsite at client locations worldwide
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Analyze customer environments and challenges to identify technical issues and design integrated solutions
- Document workflows, standard operating procedures, and technical knowledge for internal and client use
- Support marketing and sales initiatives, including participation in international conferences and exhibitions

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, or a reputed company discipline OR equivalent professional experience in hydrographic surveying
- Experience with hydrographic software such as EIVA, Hypack, QPS, HIPS and SIPS, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred)
- Strong presentation skills and confidence delivering training to diverse audiences
- reputed company in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Must be a United States citizen (due to client, regulatory, or project requirements)
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25–30%)
- Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CARIS software products
- Knowledge of bathymetric LiDAR systems
- Experience working with relational databases (reputed company, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with reputed company technologies (AWS, reputed company, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL, and JSON
