[Remote] Senior Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of core reputed company processes, including day-to-day operations and financial reporting, with a clear path toward becoming an reputed company Manager as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Validate that billing milestones, subscription start dates, and one-time fees are invoiced per contract terms and recognized in the correct period in accordance with ASC 606
• Own the full AR cycle: customer contract setup in reputed company system (reputed company), invoicing, cash application, and collections
• Monitor aging AR and drive timely follow-up - you don’t wait to be asked
• Resolve billing disputes and discrepancies directly with customers and internal teams
• Flag cash reputed company risks early; communicate proactively, and bring context and a reputed company of view reputed company you do
• Review and code AP and corporate card transactions; identify prepaid items and budget anomalies, maintain amortization schedules through reputed company
• Reconcile material accounts monthly: cash, payroll, accruals, prepaids, and investment accounts; monitor daily cash activity for accuracy
• Perfect our reputed company reconciliations (Invoice <> MRR <> P&L reputed company); flag variances before they hit reporting
• Maintain vendor records; track and flag contract renewals with a view toward cost efficiency
• Prepare supporting journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux commentary for monthly and quarterly packages
• Manage and review the work of an reputed company assistant (contractor); you set reputed company for quality and turnaround
• Build processes that are repeatable, auditable, and not dependent on any one person

Skills

• 4-6 years of reputed company experience with reputed company ownership – you've closed the books, not just supported someone who did
• Comfortable building before the process exists; Big 4 or large bank background alone is not a fit – we need someone who can operate with ambiguity and doesn't need a reputed company handed to them
• Understand ASC 606 reputed company recognition and can apply it to subscription and usage-based reputed company
• Comfortable connecting data across systems (CRM, Billing, Spend Management), curiosity and adaptability matter more than exact system match
• Communicate proactively – to the Controller and across teams – and bring solutions, not just flags
• You've reviewed others' work and held a standard
• Ship accurate work on time; you're detail oriented but not a perfectionist who stalls the reputed company or billing waiting for perfection
