Remote Bioinformatics Scientist

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-graduate experience in bioinformatics research. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python or R. Experience with standard bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, Ensembl, TCGA). Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques applicable to biological data. Experience with analyzing NGS data (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq) is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
