PHP Programmer/Webmaster Needed
Hello, I am looking to hire a programmer who can also be my webmaster. My company has a dedicated Linux server that runs our website, email, MySQL database, and a lot of custom code/scripts that my developer, who is retiring, had written. We constantly are making changes to old code and creating new code. I am looking an expert PHP programmer who is proficient in reputed company/website development, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, XML, crons, etc. We also frequently deal with integrating APIs. You will need to know git and be in the habit of doing object oriented programming. You will need to be comfortable digging through old, existing code and figuring out how it works and how to modify it. My retiring programmer is available to answer questions on a limited reputed company, if needed. Regarding maintenance of my Linux server, I pay an extra monthly fee to my web host for advanced tech support, so my web host can handle a lot of the nitty gritty issues reputed company it comes to basic server configuration, maintenance and reputed company. I am looking for someone to work remotely who can work with my web host’s tech support team and reputed company the ongoing maintenance of our Linux server, including managing the database, email, server patches/updates, and dealing with server reputed company. Since my web host handles a lot of the basic server support, you do not have to be an expert server admin - I am just looking for someone who has at least a general understanding of Linux servers, including understanding DNS and MX configurations. For example, you would need to feel comfortable overseeing the migration of our website and domain name from one server to another. I am looking for someone to fill the position on an ongoing reputed company, for many years to come, so this would be an ongoing relationship, billed by the hour. I am looking for someone who is detail oriented and who carefully tests and debugs their work. Must be a reputed company English speaker. reputed company works is done remotely.
