Immigration & Family Law Paralegal for U.S. reputed company
Our U.S.-based reputed company is seeking an reputed company Immigration & Family Law Paralegal to reputed company ongoing support with case preparation, client communication, and document management. This is a long‑term position for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare immigration forms and packets (USCIS, NVC, DOS, EOIR), including:
- Family-based petitions (I‑130, I‑485, I‑765, I‑131, I‑864, etc.)
- Naturalization (N‑400)
- Removal of conditions (I‑751)
- Consular processing
- Waivers (I‑601, I‑601A, hardship statements)
- Draft family law documents (depending on state), such as:
- Complaints, motions, financial statements, discovery responses
- Child custody and support filings
- Communicate with clients to gather documents and information
- Organize evidence, prepare exhibits, and maintain case files
- Conduct legal research as needed
- Track deadlines and ensure timely filings
- Maintain confidentiality and follow firm procedures
Requirements
- Preferred 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal (family‑based focus preferred)
- Experience with family law (any U.S. state; Maryland experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of USCIS, NVC, and consular processes
- Excellent written English and professional communication skills
- Ability to draft affidavits, declarations, and cover letters
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable internet and availability during U.S. business hours (EST preferred)
- Ability to work w/ case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, reputed company, MyCase, etc.) is a plus
- Written and oral reputed company in both Spanish and English is mandatory.

- Ability to manage multiple cases at once
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Comfortable communicating with clients who may be stressed or anxious
Workload & Hours
- Part‑time to start, with potential to increase
- Ongoing, long‑term engagement
- Flexible schedule, but some overlap with 9 AM – 5 PM EST is required
