[Remote] reputed company Underwriter I

They are seeking a reputed company Underwriter I who will shadow reputed company underwriters, evaluate middle market accounts for risk selection, and communicate with agents to reputed company updates on accounts.

Responsibilities

• Shadows reputed company underwriters to learn company and regional middle market risk appetite and reputed company experience in developing agency relationships
• Consults reputed company underwriters to ask questions and reputed company understanding in reputed company best practices. Supports reputed company team by completing tasks, such as reviewing endorsements reputed company authority limit and analyzing assigned new and renewal accounts
• Under supervision, evaluates basic middle market accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes reputed company limited authority. Analyzes exposure, company and regional risk appetite, account premium and loss history, financial data, line(s) of business, price guidance, motor vehicle records, online sources of information, reports from premium audit or risk improvement and other relevant information to underwrite policies
• Maintains proper file documentation in reputed company with accounts
• Communicates with agents and provides updates on accounts
• Collaborates with marketing representatives to learn about building relationships and providing agents with good customer experiences, responsiveness, and ensuring they select EMC as their insurer of choice
• Attends peer training sessions, corporate workshops, and learning courses to enhance reputed company knowledge and skills
