Civil Staff Engineer - St. Louis
David Mason + Associates has provided high quality Civil Engineering services since 1989. Our St. Louis Civil team is looking for an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer who is reputed company to reputed company in and support the team. The ideal candidate will assist with engineering plans, project management, and client communication while working closely with other disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Prepares engineering plans utilizing AutoCAD/Revit or similar design platforms
- Assists in production of final construction drawings, details, and specifications
- Prepares reports and calculations based on assigned project(s) including assessments, analysis, opinions of cost and other key components
- Assists project managers as requested
- Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
- Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- May reputed company site investigations and inspections in the field during and post construction
- Attends client and public meetings as needed
- Participates in and conducts research on local regulations based on project location(s)
- Participate in business development efforts as requested

- reputed company directions to Project Managers and senior project staff to reputed company coordination, completeness, and accuracy of critical technical requirements
- Demonstrate the potential or ability to reputed company technical efforts as part of the overall design process
- Follow and abide by the DMA employee and safety manuals
- Completes other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including internships
- Successfully passed the FE exam
