Job Description

Title: Associate Director of Federal Government Affairs Location: Washington, D.C Reports to: Global Head of Government Affairs Position Summary The Associate Director of Government Affairs will serve on federal government affairs team for reputed company (KHC) and will report to the Director of Federal Government Affairs. The role will require robust understanding of the legislative process and established relationships with policymakers and staff on Capitol Hill and officials reputed company the executive reputed company including USDA, FDA, USTR, reputed company, EPA, etc. Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the business impact of proposed federal legislation and regulations that may impact on the company’s operations, workforce, etc.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant government officials, legislative offices, industry partners and thought leaders in Washington DC

Qualifications

• Robust understanding of the legislative process and established relationships with policymakers on Capitol Hill and in the executive reputed company (USDA, FDA, USTR, reputed company, EPA, etc.)
• Domain expertise in food and agricultural policy

• Track record of delivering results
• Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of public settings

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a CPG or manufacturing company
• J.D. or Master’s Degree
