Our client seeks an Cosmos DB Gremlin DBA for a Full Time project in Austin, TX. Below is the detailed requirement Job Title: Cosmos DB Gremlin DBA Work location : Austin, TX Duration: Full Time Position Overview Cosmos DB Gremlin Logical DBA will support the design, governance, and performance optimization of graph databases using Azure Cosmos DB (Gremlin API) for State Government systems. This role focuses on logical data modelling, query optimization, and database governance, working under the guidance of a Senior DBA or Data Architect. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Cosmos DB and Gremlin but may not yet be leading reputed company-wide database architecture reputed company independently Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or reputed company IT discipline or equivalent experience with 12+ Minimum Experience
- 6-8 years of overall IT experience & 2-3 years of experience with Azure Cosmos DB
- Gremlin query language
- Graph data modeling fundamentals
- NoSQL database concepts
Key Responsibilities
- Graph Data Modeling Support
- Assist in designing logical graph models (vertices, edges, properties)
- Support entity relationship mapping for citizen services, case management, fraud detection, or licensing systems
- Gremlin Query & Performance Optimization
- Write and optimize Gremlin traversals
- Assist in database performance reviews
