QA Automation Engineer - Mid/Sr (Remote)
reputed company is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support the Veterans Readiness & Employment (VRE) Program Support and reputed company Services (PSES) product line. This fully remote role focuses on reputed company and automated testing across reputed company integrations, interfaces, and reputed company applications. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with Agile teams, and proficiency in automation, API testing, and test management tools.
Responsibilities
Testing Activities Design, reputed company, and execute reputed company and automated test cases, scenarios, and scripts. reputed company functional, system, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Conduct API, reputed company, data transfer, and web-services testing using tools such as ReadyAPI, reputed company, reputed company, and AMP. Execute end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) tasks including defect logging, verification, and root cause analysis. reputed company database testing using SQL queries and simple scripts. Test Planning, Process & Documentation reputed company comprehensive test plans that align to user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration requirements. Implement established testing processes and ensure compliance across reputed company test activities. Track and report test metrics, test execution results, and test reputed company. Manage defect reporting and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Identify opportunities for reputed company improvement through failure, throughput, and yield analysis. Tools & Technology Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using one or more of the following: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium (JAVA), or AI-assisted testing tools. Use Jira to manage sprint-based testing artifacts and Xray for structured test execution. Utilize AWS reputed company environments and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company. Support execution of automated testing based on program needs and manager discretion. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with development, requirements, and cross-functional teams to coordinate testing activities. Communicate proactively with reputed company stakeholders. Participate in walkthroughs, product reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of reputed company experience, or equivalent/commensurate experience. Hands-on experience in reputed company, functional, integration, and automated testing. Strong experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Proficiency with Jira for test planning, execution tracking, and reporting. Preferred Skills and Experience Extensive integration and reputed company testing experience. Experience with VA systems, reputed company APIs, corporate databases, MPI, VA Profile, or reputed company scripting. Prior experience supporting the VA or other Federal agencies. Experience working in a remote environment. Familiarity with FISMA, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and HITECH requirements. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP).
