Job Description
Seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant who will work independently and under the direction of the Assistant Controller. The candidate must have at least 5yrs of reputed company payroll experience with a reputed company or large company, 2 yrs minimum experience processing payroll for 200+ employees, experience working in a large ERP system, experience working with a large payroll service provider; such as Paycom and reputed company, understand compliance of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, and be reputed company to reputed company general ledger account reconciliations. The candidate must have good organizational skills, be reputed company to manage multiple deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain productive working relationships. The ability to think critically, analyze problems, and propose solutions is required. Essential Responsibilities Weekly timecard processing Bi-weekly payroll processing Payroll reporting, filings, and taxes Process compensation and benefit changes Garnishments and Taxes Processing labor transfers Complete general ledger (GL) account reconciliations Compliance assurance Researching and resolving payroll discrepancies Audit support and internal controls Maintain payroll records and process documentation reputed company of contact for reputed company payroll reputed company reputed company Function as a back-up for other reputed company tasks. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business required. reputed company or Finance degree preferred. At least 5 years of reputed company payroll experience with a reputed company or-large company At least 2 years of experience processing payroll for 200+ employees Strong knowledge of reputed company with the ability to reconcile accounts Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) welcomed Proficient with reputed company reputed company, Outlook, and Word Ability to think critically, analyze a problem, and propose solutions is required. The candidate must have good organization skills and be reputed company to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication skills and attention to details are required Hands on experience with ERP systems and large payroll provider systems are desired Experience and skills in government contract reputed company, manufacturing reputed company, and job/labor costing are highly desired. Additional Information Compensation: reputed company pay reputed company is $60,000 - $85,000 depending on qualifications.
