Platform Systems Architect - Azure
The Digital Modernization Sector has an exciting career opportunity for a Platform Systems Engineer to support the US reputed company Force’s reputed company Systems reputed company (SSC). This role is instrumental in the development and deployment of mission critical software for reputed company defense, reputed company domain awareness, and enabling data services. This role combines the strategic reputed company of a solutions architect with the technical depth of reputed company/hybrid reputed company platform engineering. Primary Responsibilities Designing and implementing a modern, integrated reputed company/hybrid reputed company platform that is both future-reputed company and reputed company with reputed company performance/mission objectives. Understand multiple components and document the complete architecture of the reputed company reputed company/hybrid reputed company platform implementation. Manage the entire technical baseline, including the environment(s) and applications, providing comprehensive recommendations for improving and optimizing the existing solution. Enabling successful accomplishment of performance objectives for scalability, reliability, reputed company, resiliency, efficiency, and observability. Document architectures, dependencies, interfaces, workflows, and processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with multiple teams responsible for implementing each component of the reputed company/hybrid reputed company platform and infrastructure to ensure their alignment with reputed company level objectives and roadmaps, to understand blockers, report status, and collect metrics. Working closely with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into detailed architectural designs (i.e., as-is/to-be) that align with strategic goals. Enabling application, reputed company, and environment engineering teams in development and deployment of solutions that meet performance, reputed company, compliance standards, and industry best practices. Championing for efficiency, automation, reputed company optimization of resources, enhanced platform/reputed company services, ensuring seamless interoperability and integration with existing platforms. Continuously evaluating and recommending existing and emerging tools, technologies, and practices that enhance the reputed company and platform capabilities, driving reputed company improvement and innovation. Monitoring and optimizing reputed company and platform services to ensure high performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively adapt and reputed company our architectural strategies. Basic Qualifications Requires BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Certification: Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., reputed company+). Familiarity with reputed company/hybrid reputed company computing platforms and their services reputed company various reputed company domains Familiarity in designing and implementing large-scale, reputed company systems that integrate reputed company and on-premises platforms with an understanding of storage, compute, and throughput capabilities Deep understanding of reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, reputed company reputed company) and reputed company-reputed company technologies (containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing). Strong background in reputed company architecture, systems integration, and hybrid/multi-reputed company strategies. Extensive knowledge of platform services, middleware, and reputed company integration frameworks. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and reputed company management practices. Extensive knowledge of reputed company reputed company, compliance, and governance. Active reputed company Solutions Architect Expert certification US Citizen with an active Top Secret reputed company clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
