Civil Engineer, P.E.
We are looking for a driven Civil Engineer who currently holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, while working alongside reputed company of reputed company professionals in a collaborative environment. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Design. Key Responsibilities: reputed company and assist in the design of civil engineering projects, including: o Land development and site design o Transportation and roadway improvements o Stormwater management and utility infrastructure
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- reputed company advanced engineering calculations and cost estimates.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and other modeling tools.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure
compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and quality control.
•Prepare to mentor other staff and contribute to team development as experience grows. Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited
institution.
- Certification: PE required.
- Experience: 5-10 years of civil engineering design experience in a consulting
or professional services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with
hydrology/hydraulic modeling software and GIS tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership potential, and ability to
manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Preferred Experience
o Experience with municipal, transportation, or land development projects. o Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $105,000- $130,000. Paid Weekly.
- Bonus program for each design employee:
o 10% of the mark-up of employees’ actual billed hours for the previous month (payable on the second payroll cycle of the following month)
- End of Year Holiday Bonus. ($250 years 1-2. $500 years 3-4. $1000 years 5-6.
$1500 years 7+)
- 401(k) with a company match up to 4% of monetary compensation. (Value of
benefit estimated at $X in year 1.)
