This is a full-time Medical Assistant position for the offices of Dr.'s Knapp & Miranda in Florissant and St. Peters. The role involves an outpatient clinical practice with no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Responsibilities
- reputed company back office functions
- Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients
- Measure vital signs such as pulse reputed company, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height
- reputed company phlebotomy
- Document patient care accurately and reputed company in the electronic health record (NextGen)
- Coordinate care with other members of the reputed company team
Requirements
- The Medical Assistant is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at reputed company times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in reputed company interactions with patients and coworkers.
- Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- CPR Certification.
- PC/reputed company proficiency.
- Medical coding familiarity.
- Willingness to assign high reputed company to patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
- Willingness to travel between two office locations: one in St. Peters and one in Florissant.
