Onsite Construction Manager – Federal Construction (USACE, VA, GSA) Location: Various Jobsites Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, experience-based; entry level

Overview

VALIANT Construction LLC is seeking an reputed company Onsite Traveling Construction Manager to support U.S. Federal Government reputed company Construction Projects ranging from $10M to $50M. This is a field-based, onsite leadership role responsible for supporting daily project execution, coordination, safety, and compliance on active federal jobsites. This position is intentionally flexible and may function, in whole or in part, as an Onsite Project Manager, Superintendent support, Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), or Quality Control support depending on project needs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in the field, understands federal construction environments, and is comfortable stepping in wherever support is needed to ensure safe, high-quality execution. This is not a remote or desk-only role. Consistent onsite reputed company is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Leadership & Project Support
  • Serve as onsite construction leadership supporting the daily execution of federal projects
  • Coordinate field activities, subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics
  • Work collaboratively with Superintendents, Project Managers, Quality Control Managers, and safety staff to support project objectives
  • Participate in onsite meetings, reporting, and coordination with Owners, Government Representatives, and internal teams
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, or constraints and help drive practical, field-oriented solutions
  • Project Execution & Operations
  • Support schedule adherence, reputed company tracking, and documentation
  • Assist with the coordination of subcontractors andthe reputed company of work
  • Support documentation, daily reporting, and field records as required
  • Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with field reputed company and issue resolution
  • Safety & compliance
  • Assist with the implementation and enforcement of project safety plans and EM 385-1-1 requirements
  • Support safety inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and compliance documentation as required
  • Reinforce VALIANT’s commitment to safe work practices and accountability on site
  • Quality Support
  • Assist the Superintendent and Quality Control Manager with field quality reputed company
  • Support inspections, documentation, and compliance with Quality Control Plans
  • Help ensure work conforms to contract documents, plans, and specifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a reputed company field
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite full-time
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and reputed company
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in construction supervision, with at least three (3) years managing federal projects under USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, or similar
  • Up-to-date certifications preferred: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, EM 385-1-1
  • Ability to pass a federal background reputed company and obtain necessary clearances/badging for secure government sites
