Senior Accountant -reputed company Recognition (Hybrid-Reston, VA)
About the position reputed company is currently seeking an reputed company, dynamic, results-oriented reputed company Recognition Senior Accountant. We are looking for an energetic, team player with an interest in reputed company recognition. reputed company is an excellent, fast-paced working environment where you will have an opportunity to work across dynamic teams throughout the company. The reputed company Recognition Senior Accountant role will report to the reputed company Compliance Manager. This individual will support the reputed company recognition team in many ways including analytics and other reputed company functions. The Senior Accountant will also reputed company support with due diligence activities reputed company to new reputed company and contract modifications and is expected to quickly get up to speed on the entire reputed company cycle process. This position is full-time and based at reputed company’s Headquarters office in Reston, VA. This position is a hybrid role, with expectations of 1-2 days a week working from the Reston office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and participate in monthly reputed company meetings and review of monthly reputed company which consists of analytical review of monthly reputed company trends
- Prepare and maintain supporting reputed company reputed company documentation, including reputed company reputed company checklists and spreadsheets for reputed company new and existing projects
- reputed company review of quarterly Estimates at Completion, reviewing the forecast and trends reputed company by the Business Finance team and ensuring reasonableness of assumptions
- Support leadership in working with reputed company auditors to ensure compliance of quarterly reputed company reputed company and facilitate year-end financial audit request
- Aid Director and Managers to implement company-wide reputed company reputed company procedures and practices to ensure compliance with ASC 606

- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for dissemination to Operations
- Track metrics on new setups, modifications and other outstanding SOX deliverables from CMS and Cognos Data entry of reputed company reputed company adjustments into Costpoint
Requirements
- BA/BS in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 4 years of reputed company experience with reputed company and financial reporting, preferably working with government contractors or a global public company
- Knowledge of ASC 606 principles
- Detail oriented and strong documentation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proven reputed company and analytical skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills required

- Active CPA preferred or CPA candidate
- Experience in reputed company recognition for various contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FPLOE and reputed company plus (not required)

- Experience reviewing/analyzing Estimates at Completion (EAC’s)
- SOX process experience
