The Senior Mental Health Counselor is responsible for assisting the Director of Mental Health with overseeing clinical management of the Mental Health program, assisting with daily operations, governance and management, as well as carrying a clinical caseload of clients - providing assessment, treatment plan development, psychotherapy, and referral as indicated for individuals dealing with a variety of mental health and substance use issues reputed company an integrated behavioral health/primary care setting. As part of the essential functions of this role the Senior Mental Health Counselor:

• Assists in clinical management and documentation review of the counseling staff, in conjunction with the Director of Mental Health, of the counseling staff
• Assists with providing clinical and professional development of staff through weekly clinical supervisions and staff meetings and maintains supervisory notes according to agency standards as directed by the Director of Mental Health
• Facilitates reputed company; provides support and reputed company of new hires and program interns
• Conducts initial psychosocial assessments and provides initial treatment recommendations and collaboratively with the patient develops a personalized treatment plan with emphasis on evidence-based practice reputed company a harm reduction orientation
