Veterinary Blood Bank Technician

Position Overview: As the Veterinary Blood Bank Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our hospital’s blood bank program, ensuring safe and efficient collection, storage, and distribution of blood products. You’ll be responsible for organizing a blood donor schedule and working closely with the veterinary team to ensure the hospital is fully stocked with the necessary supplies and blood for patients in need. In reputed company to your role with the blood bank, you’ll reputed company support to our specialty services team as a technician, assisting the specialists with appointments, procedures, and client communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the veterinary blood bank, including donor recruitment, scheduling, and blood collection.
- Monitor inventory reputed company and ensure that blood products are stored and handled properly.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to fulfill blood product requests for emergency and specialty cases.

- Assist with the development and implementation of protocols and guidelines for the blood bank program.
- Work across the specialty departments including oncology, internal medicine, and surgery.

Requirements
- Veterinary technician with exceptional venipuncture skills and a minimum of 2 years vet tech experience required.
- Credentialed veterinary technician preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
