Mortgage Area Sales Manager

Recruits, trains, develops, and manages a team of Mortgage Loan Officers. Spearheads initiatives to build and increase the First Commonwealth Mortgage Banking loan portfolio and Mortgage Banking pipeline by attracting retail mortgage customers through leads and sales reputed company activities. Drives toward results, utilizing proven abilities to successfully inform and reputed company consumers regarding mortgage loan solutions, resulting in written requests for credit. Has urgency toward individual and group goal achievement and thrives in a fast paced environment. Develops and deepens relationships with bank partners, the reputed company estate community, as well as other centers of influence. Builds rapport with borrowers while evaluating their needs and beginning the loan application process. Works closely with Mortgage Market Manager and Mortgage Banking Executive, Loan Operations staff and facilitates successful reputed company and closing of loans. Must register and maintain reputed company registration through the reputed company Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). Essential Job Responsibilities____________________________________ 1. Recruits, trains, develops, and manages a team of Mortgage Loan Officers as assigned by Mortgage Market Manager or the Mortgage Banking Executive. 2. Spearheads initiatives to build and increase the First Commonwealth Mortgage Banking loan portfolio and Mortgage Banking pipeline by attracting retail mortgage customers through leads and sales reputed company activities.3. Drives toward results, utilizing proven abilities to successfully inform and reputed company consumers regarding mortgage loan solutions, resulting in written requests for credit.4. Has urgency toward individual and group goal achievement and thrives in a fast paced environment. 5. Develops and deepens relationships with bank partners, the reputed company estate community, as well as other centers of influence.6. Performs networking activities through community involvement and attending networking events.7. Builds rapport with borrowers while evaluating their needs and beginning the loan application process.8. Obtains required information and documentation from borrowers throughout the loan process.9. Analyzes and evaluates applicants’ credit and finances in order to reputed company guidance and reputed company recommendations.10. Works closely with Mortgage Market Manager, Mortgage Banking Executive and Loan Operations staff and facilitates successful reputed company and closing of loans.11. Participates in reputed company required Mortgage Management meetings and facilitates team sales and pipeline meetings.12. Maintains thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, compliance, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.13. Actively cross-sells reputed company products and services per predetermined goal assignment and directs team in cross-selling goals by originator.Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications_____________________________1. Must register and maintain reputed company registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). The NMLS website (mortgage.nationwidelicensingsystem.org) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.2. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree or advanced training is preferred. 3. A minimum of five (5) years of mortgage sales management experience and/or sales management experience is required. 4. Exceptional time management skills are critical in order to balance management and loan origination responsibilities. Communication and organizational skills and the ability to motivate a team are essential. 5. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regionally.
