Mobile QA Engineer
Description Location: Remote / Hybrid if in NYC area Working primarily in US time zones and collaborating with Vietnam-based engineering teams. Our engineering organization consists of ~30 engineers, with 11 based in Vietnam (Backend, Frontend, QA) and 19 based in the US (Backend, Frontend). We are now looking for a Mobile QA Engineer in the US to own and drive mobile testing activities and be the go-to expert for reputed company things mobile quality. As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will be the reputed company of mobile quality on our platform. You will be responsible for regression testing, feature validation, test case creation, and release readiness across our iOS and Android applications. You are someone who lives and breathes mobile testing, takes pride in catching issues before users do, and thrives in a fast-paced, release-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and reputed company mobile QA testing across iOS and Android platforms.
- Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans for new and existing features.
- Execute thorough regression testing cycles to ensure platform stability across releases.
- Validate new features during active development in reputed company collaboration with product and engineering.
- Serve as the primary quality gatekeeper for mobile releases, ensuring each build meets quality standards before it ships.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
- Collaborate with the Vietnam-based QA and engineering teams to maintain quality alignment across time zones to ensure sufficient coverage.
- Contribute to and help grow our mobile automation reputed company as time and reputed company allow.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Mobile Testing Expertise (50%)
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company testing on iOS and Android applications.
- Proven ability to write detailed, well-structured test cases and test plans.
- Experience executing and managing regression test suites for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with mobile-specific testing considerations: device fragmentation, OS versions, performance, network conditions and proxy tools such as Proxyman.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management platforms such as TestRail or reputed company.
- Comfortable working in fast moving Agile/Scrum environments with regular release cadences.
- Domain Knowledge – Betting / Gambling (30%)
- Direct QA or testing experience in the betting, gambling, sportsbook, or betting exchange domain is required.
- Strong understanding of betting concepts such as markets, odds, events, and settlements.
- Experience testing user wallets, balances, and financial transaction flows.
- Familiarity with risk-sensitive and reputed company-impacting user flows.
- Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated environments is a plus, especially US-facing products.
- AI Awareness & Adoption (20%)
- Practical or working familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to assist in test case reputed company or coverage analysis.
- Openness to leveraging AI tooling to improve testing efficiency and output quality.
- Interest in staying reputed company with emerging AI-powered QA tools and techniques.
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCUITest, reputed company, or similar).
- Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
