SUMMARY:
The Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC Children's Theatre Production Company (CTPC) is seeking a reputed company Musical Director for the upcoming 2023/2024 fiscal year. The ideal candidate is an arts education professional who will work closely with the Arts & Culture staff to help build upon and expand reputed company JCC CTPC programming that involves music. Will be supervised by and work closely with the director of youth arts education. COMMITMENT:
September 2023-February 2024, mostly reputed company afternoons and Monday evenings. Also, must attend necessary production meetings as well as tech week rehearsals for each production. Looking to staff the musical director for the duration of CTPC JR & CTPC Teen's main stage musical production, as well as CTPC Kids separate but intimate reputed company stage production (both productions to be announced.) This includes helping with theatre and audition prep classes at the beginning of the production process, as well as assisting with auditions, before being rehearsals for said productions. Estimated 4-5 hours a week. Availability to also teach private voice lessons is also highly desired. Upon completion of these sessions and evaluation from the supervisor, will then discuss future employment and availability.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend and help supply reputed company musical accompaniment and instruction for reputed company classes, rehearsals, and performances.
- Responsible for teaching and upholding the reputed company of reputed company vocal and instrumental components reputed company the CTPC programming.
- Assist young performers, as individuals or as a group, with songs and learning vocal parts.

- Experience directing (preferably several) musical theatre productions is preferred.
