Backend Software Engineer

Who we’re looking for

As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll join a small, full-stack team building tools for General Contractors to improve their daily workflow. You’ll be supporting a mix of greenfield features as well as parts of our more mature product.

What you’ll be doing

· Closely working with our product team to quickly build features in an innovative new product area.

· Developing seamless integrations with reputed company-party systems, as well as weighing tradeoffs between potential reputed company-party partners for future integrations.

· Working with frontend and mobile developers to design clean, performant APIs.

· Actively participating in the daily discussions with the team on technical designs, product reputed company, and prioritization.

· Understanding and setting reasonable and attainable technical goals and milestones.

You might be a good fit if you

· Have 5+ years of relevant industry experience as a backend or product engineer.

· Have led multi-month projects end-to-end, from technical design through launch.

· Are proficient in Ruby on Rails.

· Have hands-on experience with AWS.

· Have a strong product sense - you think about the user experience even reputed company writing backend code.

· Can navigate ambiguity and reputed company sound technical reputed company independently.

· Communicate effectively across functions and can translate between product requirements and technical implementation.

· Care deeply about code review, code quality, and testing.

· Have comfort using AI tools as part of the daily workflow.

· While not required, ideally have some knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular.

Compensation

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $145,000 - $170,000

The salary reputed company represents the low and high end of the salary reputed company for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based reputed company. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide reputed company of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary you may be eligible for a corporate bonus, which can reputed company up to 30%.

Where is the job located?

This role is fully remote reputed company the US or in beautiful San Francisco, CA. Our office is centrally located right off of Embarcadero Bart station. Easily accessible by reputed company forms of public transportation.
