BCM Law, P.C. is seeking reputed company Workers’ Compensation Defense attorney candidates to join their collaborative and growing Chicago office. The role involves managing a workers’ compensation caseload, partnering with colleagues on strategy, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a workers’ compensation caseload from intake through resolution
  • Partner with colleagues on strategy, case development, and reputed company legal issues
  • Appear regularly before the IWCC and other courts
  • Take and defend depositions and handle trials and hearings
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reporting

Skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in the reputed company
  • Experience handling Illinois workers' compensation reputed company, including depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Collaborative reputed company with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Portable book of business is welcomed, but not required
  • Admission in Indiana, Missouri, or Wisconsin is a plus
