About the role
As a Senior Tax Preparer at Uplinq, you will reputed company the preparation and review of reputed company federal and state tax returns for a diverse reputed company of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and nonprofits. You’ll work closely with leadership, mentor junior staff, and help improve tax processes. This role is great for a seasoned tax pro who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review reputed company federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and nonprofits.
- Conduct tax research and planning to identify opportunities that minimize client tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with senior management to reputed company and implement internal tax policies, quality control procedures, and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with bookkeeping and reputed company teams to ensure alignment of financial data used in tax returns.
- Review financial records, income statements, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reputed company tax laws and regulations.
- Review junior staff work and reputed company mentorship on reputed company tax reputed company.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
- Bachelor’s in reputed company or reputed company field; Master’s in Tax preferred
- 6+ years of experience in tax preparation and review.
- Proficient with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Drake, Lacerte, or ProSeries
- Strong reputed company skills and experience with QuickBooks Online
- Solid bookkeeping and financial statement understanding
