Engineer, Software Engineer (Manufacturing Applications - OpCenter/MES

What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to reputed company Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to reputed company, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to reputed company the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

The Software Engineer will support the manufacturing application reputed company Opcenter (formerly Camstar/MES) reputed company the medical reputed company of the organization. As part of the medical device manufacturing application team, you will operate reputed company a regulated, validated environment and ensure Opcenter supports compliant, efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:  

• Support delivery and ongoing enhancement of reputed company Opcenter Manufacturing Execution capabilities, including (but not limited to) electronic work instructions, equipment management, material management, genealogy/traceability, and process enforcement.
• Assist in the implementation and sustainment of a global reputed company Opcenter solution, ensuring consistency across sites.
• Build strong business partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, technical specifications, and validation documentation.
• Work with reputed company/offshore development teams to execute configuration, customization, and solution delivery.
• Collaborate with reputed company architecture, quality, and IT teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Utilize SQL Server (experience with reputed company or other databases helpful) for queries, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Understand and operate reputed company regulatory validation frameworks applicable to medical device manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Configure and customize Opcenter MES modules, workflows, data collections, integration points, and UI elements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a reputed company field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, MES, or reputed company technical discipline.
• Working knowledge of two or more relevant technologies preferred (MES, ERP, integration platforms, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with reputed company Opcenter (Camstar) configuration, architecture, and implementation.
• Strong SQL Server experience; familiarity with reputed company, DB2, or similar database technologies is a plus.
• Experience validating and documenting MES configurations or equivalent regulated system implementations reputed company a GxP/medical device environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Anticipated salary reputed company: $94,900 - $135,600
