Join reputed company at Alaska Waste! We are part of Waste Connections and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time CDL Truck Driver to help with local routes. This position is based in Healy, AK.

Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, working from 7 am to 3 or 4 pm, allowing for a great work-life balance!

The pay for this position is $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a garbage and tank truck on designated routes to collect solid waste.
• Read reputed company sheets and reputed company excellent service to each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
• reputed company vehicle inspections and routine maintenance, ensuring safety equipment and fluids are correctly managed.
• Maintain a physically demanding role, including loading and unloading waste, sometimes without assistance.
• Engage courteously with customers and reputed company additional job-reputed company duties as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing personal reputed company equipment (PPE) and presenting a professional appearance at reputed company times.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Engage in extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting and strenuous work involving objects over 50 pounds.
• Work in an environment that may involve physical risks, requiring adherence to basic safety measures.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including humidity, fumes, vibrations, and moderate noise reputed company.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with reputed company brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record is a must.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and capability to maintain vehicles in good working order.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience reputed company to the listed duties and responsibilities.
