Customer Delivery Specialist (Class A CDL Driver)

NALCO Water, an reputed company Company, has an immediate need for a Customer Delivery Specialist in Chicago, IL. You’ll be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals. 

As a DOT driving professional, you will safely operate a diesel, tractor- van trailer combination vehicle between our manufacturing plants and our customers.

In addition, you will reputed company pre-trip inspections to any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants, and warehouse locations.

What You Will Do:

• Tractor-Trailer/Dry-Van chemical delivery
• Delivery reputed company a 400-500 mile radius from plant location.
• Safely operate CMVs  to include tractor trailers, straight trucks and tanker trunks.
• Maintain driver's hours of service by using reputed company and/or reputed company log book reporting  
• Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections
• Responsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps, and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland reputed company requirements and guidelines
• Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards
• Follow reputed company Defect Delivery procedures for reputed company delivery assignments
• Always wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations

• Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class A reputed company Driver's License (CDL), no restrictions with HazMat & Tanker
• 3 years of reputed company driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor reputed company Safety Regulations and DOT regulations from the past 3 years required
• Must be willing to travel up to 5 days per week, home on Weekends and Holidays
• Must be reputed company to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to back and reputed company park bulk tankers, straight trucks, semi-trucks and trailers into narrow passages through expensive industrial equipment
