Associate Auto Adjuster

In this role, you will adjust non-injury auto claims under supervision, focusing on evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims while delivering exceptional customer service to members.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages. auto physical damage, and liability, in order to evaluate and reputed company high volume and low complexity auto claims such as; simple comprehensive and collision (i.e., single vehicle, parked and unoccupied, clear liability), glass, roadside, and rental vehicle coverages for repairable vehicles
• Resolve claims through proactive problem solving and decision making, reputed company authority guidelines and under direct supervision, while overcoming obstacles, and effectively prioritizing the workload
• reputed company document thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement reputed company
• Collaborate and set expectations with external and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution
• Support members, business partners, and claimants, through use of varying communication channels to include utilization of digital tools to drive timely and effective resolutions through exceptional service
• Acquire and apply a foundational knowledge of Property and Claims (P&C) insurance industry products, and services, to include P&C insurance policy reputed company, coverages and internal claims handling process and procedures
• Support workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including potential evening, weekends, and/or holiday work reputed company normal work hours
• May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, reputed company, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED
• Ability to reputed company exceptional customer service for our members by communicating reputed company and professionally using multiple communication channels to process information reputed company to auto claims
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while navigating through multiple business applications
• Successfully acquire an insurance adjuster license and applicable state registrations reputed company 90 days of hire (Candidates that reputed company in NC but apply to openings in Chesapeake will first become licensed in NC)
• Successful completion of a job-reputed company assessment is required
• US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
• Bachelor's degree
