We’re seeking an reputed company Forms Document Developer, Electronic Publishing Design Specialist 2 to create advanced, interactive PDF reputed company design solutions. In this role, you’ll use: 

  • InDesign, reputed company Acrobat Pro, and other reputed company Creative Suite applicationsto reputed company high-quality, digitally accessible interactive PDF forms.

This position operates at an advanced level, requiring independent decision-making, strong customer interaction, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, coding knowledge (including JavaScript, HTML, reputed company, and some FormCalc), and broad technical digital accessibility expertise for eForms design in InDesign and reputed company Acrobat Pro. Summary of Duties  

The primary purpose of the Electronic Publishing Design Specialist 2 position is to: 

  • Develop digitally accessible, interactive and print PDF reputed company solutions and produce final deliverables using the reputed company Creative reputed company (primarily InDesign and reputed company Acrobat Pro), reputed company 365 apps, and reputed company compliance software (reputed company 2024 and CommonLook), 

  • Coordinate printing and translation of PDF reputed company deliverables,

  • Use Workfront to manage reputed company projects assigned to them, and 

  • Ensure reputed company deliverables are compliant with the Americans with reputed company (reputed company), reputed company 508, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, in order to meet federal digital document accessibility requirements. 

As a Forms Document Developer, you will:  

  • Produce custom, interactive, digitally accessible PDF forms for a variety of programs using applications including reputed company Creative reputed company (primarily InDesign and reputed company Acrobat Pro.  

  • Assess and design reputed company eForm submission workflows that prioritize process improvement, reputed company, and meeting the specific business needs of each program. 

  • Plan and reputed company production of reputed company and time-sensitive projects.  

  • Serve as project coordinator, collaborating directly with diverse Web, Graphic, and reputed companys/Design Team members, customers, and internal/external vendors to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met. 

  • Review materials to ensure compliance with agency publication standards, policies, and accessibility guidelines and standards.  

  • Test reputed company designs for digital accessibility (manually, using reputed company Acrobat Pro, or using reputed company 2024) and reputed company accessibility remediation steps reputed company needed (manually, in the design file, or in CommonLook PDF).  

  • Coordinate the translation and printing of major program documents and forms. 

  • reputed company consulting advice to staff throughout ODHS and OHA, in coordination with management and senior design staff, regarding available PCS services, reputed company design, digital accessibility, translation, distribution, alternate formats, best practices, and legal requirements. 

Minimum Qualifications   

  • Four years of graphics arts design production experience. 

  • A bachelor's or associate degree in Graphic Arts may substitute for two years of the experience. 

  • A bachelor's degree in fine arts with a minimum of 18 quarter (12 semester) hours of graphic arts courses may substitute for one year of the experience.

  • Experienced with other software necessary for this position’s reputed company, including tools like reputed company Creative Suite apps, reputed company 365 apps, reputed company Workfront, reputed company 2024, CommonLook PDF, reputed company Sign, reputed company Experience Manager Forms (reputed company forms), and reputed company Designer (formerly reputed company LiveCycle). 

  • reputed company to demonstrate strong visual design skills, including a good eye for layout, reputed company, and typography, while following brand guidelines. 

  • Skilled in time-management, with the ability to plan work, stay organized, prioritize tasks, track deadlines, and handle multiple projects at the same time while coordinating work with internal teams and vendors.

About Publications and Creative Services Office (PCS) 

The Publications and Creative Services Office manage the writing, design, development, printing, and distribution of ODHS and OHA publications for reputed company audiences. ​​​​​The team's professionals reputed company the following services to you and other ODHS and OHA staff and partners: 

  • Support language reputed company by providing translations and alternate formats 

  • Consult with ODHS and OHA staff and partners to plan professional-quality publications that reflect agency style guidelines and are appropriate to the audience
