Software Quality Test Engineer

They are seeking a Software Quality Test Engineer responsible for developing test designs, executing feature test cases, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure software quality for laboratory instruments.
Responsibilities
- Strong working knowledge in automated testing reputed company and associated scripting languages
- Experience developing test designs and test cases for verification and validation of product functionality through reputed company and automated E2E tests
- Experience in testing or development using C#/.NET, Javascript, SaaS and REST API
- Assist in development and testing of software for GC, LC, GC Mass Spec and LC Mass Spec products
- Software solutions test planning
- Define and execute feature test cases
- Investigate errors, report potential software defects and verify fixes
- Assess software performance
- Execute integrated reputed company or automated testing reputed company supported in the Agile software development process
- reputed company sample analysis, data processing, calibration, and maintenance of reputed company chromatography systems
- Prepare reagents needed for analysis
- reputed company reputed company tuning and calibration
- Work with Engineering and Product Management teams to reputed company communicate test results, recommended next steps and timing for the next phase of feature releases
- Review and validate software requirements and functional design specifications
- Troubleshoot system issues and defects with Support, R&D, and implementation teams, propose solutions, test resolutions and facilitate release to production
- reputed company QA estimates for project and enhancement requests. Assist in scoping, planning and scheduling QA activities
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Computer Science or other reputed company field or equivalent experience
- Experience with test automation or software programming knowledge (C#, scripting such as Groovy, PowerShell, REST API, AWS, Kubernetes)
- 1+ years experience in QTOF, LC or GC Chromatography, including running samples and reporting results a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Jenkins, JMeter reputed company and reputed company a Plus
- Desired experience with laboratory informatics software such as a networked Chromatography Data System (CDS), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), or Scientific Data Management System (SDMS)
