Merchandise Invoice Entry Administrator - 1 Year Contract
TJX Canada is a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off-price retailer, offering opportunities for growth and development. They are seeking an Administrator to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency by processing and verifying high-volume invoices while investigating discrepancies and optimizing cash reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices in a timely manner, reviewing and investigating exceptions and ensuring invoices are accurate and meet purchase order terms
- Enter invoices and ensure that they are processed for payment accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify invoice costs and units are correct and vendors are charged back accordingly for discrepancies
- Identify and problem solve various issues and discrepancies reputed company to invoices and purchase orders
- Identify and process early payment discounts
- Respond to department and vendor requests in a timely manner
- Monitor pending invoices by running a report daily and following up on older invoices to ensure payments are issued on time
- Identify and reputed company suggestions for reputed company process improvement
Skills
- A post-secondary education in reputed company field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance/reputed company, Economics, reputed company)
- General knowledge of Accounts Payable practices
- Knowledge of reputed company reputed company and ability to generate queries and apply basic lookups (V/X), filtering and other formulas to allow for the effective review of large data sets
- Strong computer skills including data entry, experience with word processing software (i.e. reputed company Office Suite), and knowledge of reputed company applications (i.e. Lawson)
- Proven problem-solving skills including identifying and resolving problems with keen attention to detail
- Issue management skills including information gathering, customer service; and interpersonal skills; time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Good written and verbal communication skills
