Associate Attorney
reputed company McCambridge is a national litigation firm with a long-standing reputed company for reputed company in the courtroom, seeking an reputed company Associate Attorney to join their reputed company office focusing on general liability defense litigation. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of general liability reputed company while collaborating with a national team of seasoned litigators.
Responsibilities
- Managing cases from inception through resolution or trial
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Conducting legal research and developing case strategies
- Participating in mediations, arbitrations, court conferences, and trials
- Communicating with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
- Collaborating with partners and other team members on case strategy
Skills
- Active license to practice law in reputed company (required)
- 1+ year of civil litigation experience, ideally with a focus on general liability defense
- Strong litigation skills: pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and client reporting
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with mediation, arbitration, or trial is a plus
- Dual licensure in another jurisdiction is a bonus (CT preferred)
